It’s been a few months since the last update on this project but yesterday, our friends at Corvette Motorsport and Callaway Cars have both tweeted a teaser photo of something we’ve been dying to see for a while now, the Callaway Corvette C7 GT3 racecar.
The newest Corvette racer is expected to be revealed next month at the ADAC GT Masters season finale at Hockenheim on October 3rd.
The first teaser pic by Corvette Motorsport is dark and and doesn’t show much detail at all. The second tweet by Callaway Cars shows more of the hood and the side of the car and you can make more details on the hood’s air extractor and front grille:

Pirelli World will feature gt3 cars in its new series or gtd in IMSA, maybe there will be enough around for another Corvette race team. I’d love to see Johnny O’ back in a Corvette. Greg T.
