We got an email from a reader telling us his 1982 Corvette T-Top Coupe was stolen in Houston, Texas two nights ago so we wanted to get the word out on his behalf.
The VIN on the car is 1G1AY8784C5121475 and it was wearing a Texas license plate “798 PTZ”.
The 1982 Corvette is white with subtle red accents and red on red interior. Other identifying features are a set of mirrored glass t-tops and a A&M front license plate.
Michael R., the owner of the car, says it was stolen from Condo’s in Houston near the Galleria the night of August 18th between 1:45 am and 6:30 am. The thieves broke through a remote-only gate to get to it.
