John Fitch passed away last week at the age of 95. While for Corvette fans his legacy will be linked to racing the American sports car during its infancy, he has accomplished so much more in his lifetime. Filmmaker Michael Brown, who worked with John Fitch during the filming of the documentary The Quest, has put together a video tribute featuring John in his own words.

As Chevrolet looks back at 60 years of Corvettes, the focus today is the C5 generation that started in 1997 and ended in 2004. Corvette Product Manager Harlan Charles filmed this tribute to the 5th gen Corvette from the Corvette Time Line at Detroit’s Woodward Dream Cruise last month.
Here is the fourth video in the Corvette Generations series from the Corvette Time Line at Detroit’s Woodward Dream Cruise. In this latest segment, Corvette Product Manager Harlan Charles pays tribute to the C4 Corvette which was produced from 1984-1996.
Former Corvette Racing driver Andy Pilgrim is in Bowling Green, KY this weekend for his induction into the National Corvettes Museum’s Corvette Hall of Fame. When he arrived at the Museum, he was greeted by this 427 Convertible that pays tribute to the driver’s service to Corvette.
The love that Corvette owners have for one another never was clearer than Sunday in Kentwood, Michigan.
That’s when some 65 Corvettes rumbled past the home of late Kentwood Mayor Richard Root to pay homage to a dedicated Corvette owner who lost his four-year battle with cancer on Friday.
Want to purchase the GTE-Pro class-winning Corvette C6R from last year’s 24 hours of Le Mans? Well too bad, you can’t have that one, but can take home this yellow 2006 Z06 that’s decked out as tribute to Team Corvette’s epic triumph in France last summer.
We’d all like to combine the styling cues of an iconic Corvette with the underpinnings of a modern C6.
Not many of us have the skills or money to perform such a transformation, however.
But thanks to the popular SPEED Channel show, Chop Cut Rebuild, and Corvette Specialty of California, we can all witness a C6 change into a Grand Sport tribute over the course of several episodes. And it won’t cost us a dime.
Here’s a fun Corvette that we wouldn’t mind having parked under our Christmas tree. This 1954 model is currently for sale on EBay. The white on red roadster is a tribute to the famous 1955 Duntov EX87 test mule that ran 163mph in 1955.
The Corvette Z06 Ron Fellows ‘Hall of Fame’ Tribute was one of two Corvette concepts that General Motors brought with them to SEMA this year. The Red and White Corvette was the featured display at the Spring Mountain Motorsports Ranch / Ron Fellows Driving School booth in the adjoining hall. We took many photos of the tribute car and we also have a video of Ron Fellows showing off his personalized special edition Corvette Z06 at Chevrolet’s introduction event held last Monday.
We first came across Mark Shields (aka Super Genius) replica Corvette Batmobile in May 2006. A salvaged 1978 Corvette was used as the basis to create the one of kind tribute to Tim Burton’s 1989 reincarnation of the Dark Knight which featured Michael Keaton in the role of the caped crusader. The Corvette is now listed on eBay with a somewhat steep starting bid of $50,000.
