[PICS] Forgiato's 800-HP Widebody Corvette Z06 with Custom Red Wheels

We’ve been documenting Forgiato’s love affair with the C7 Corvette since the beginning when a widebody Stingray was built for the 2013 SEMA show. Over the last two years, we’ve seen about a dozen different versions of the widebody Stingray built in all kinds of colors and wheel selections.

Now that Chevy is building their own “widebody” in the form of the Corvette Z06, we wondered what Forgiato would have in store for the 650 horsepower super car. As these pictures show, we are not disappointed.

[PICS] XO Verona Offers Affordable Concave Wheels For the C7 Corvette Stingray

It’s been a little while since we’ve browsed custom wheels for the Corvette so when I saw this C7 Corvette Stingray in Arctic White set up with custom Wheels by XO, I wanted to take a closer look.

And I’m glad I did. Not only do the XO Verona Wheels look great in Matte Brushed Silver against the Arctic White Corvette Stingray, I found the price to be surprisingly affordable.

Corvettes on eBay: Wild 1970 Corvette with Psychedelic Paint Job

Back in the day, a lot of car magazines featured C3 Corvettes painted wildly.

The Stingray just seemed to be one of those cars that was perfect for painting that way. We remember one in particular painted red, white and blue with white stars on it.

Now you can take another trip back to the Psychedelic ’70s in this 1971 Corvette Coupe.

Much has been written in the press about the interiors of Corvettes prior to the C7 having materials that were not up to the quality level of the competition. C5 Corvette Receives a Rear Fascia Transplant from a C7 Corvette Stingray

A few months ago, we showed you a C6 ZR1 that had been fitted with a C7 rear end.

Watch out Kim Kardashian!

The photos of this unusual creation showed up recently on Corvette Forum, which then did a survey asking what people thought about the car.

Thousands of cars – customized, restored, and factory originals alike – invade Cobo Hall each year in hopes of taking home one of the many awards.
