Corvette Racing at COTA: C7.Rs Finish P6 and P8 in GTLM

AUSTIN, Texas (Sept.19, 2015) – Corvette Racing’s Antonio Garcia and Jan Magnussen remain in the hunt for the GT Le Mans (GTLM) Driver’s title in the TUDOR United SportsCar Championship headed to the season’s final race.

The pairing led the team’s efforts with the two Chevrolet Corvette C7.Rs on Saturday in the Lone Star Le Mans race at Circuit of The Americas. Winners of the first two events of 2015 – the Rolex 24 At Daytona and Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring – Garcia, Magnussen and the rest of Corvette Racing can now turn their attention to the 10-hour Petit Le Mans at Road Atlanta in two weeks time.

DETROIT (Sept.16, 2015) – Corvette Racing returns to one of sports car racing’s biggest stages this weekend for the Lone Star Le Mans weekend at Circuit of The Americas in Austin, Texas. The team and its two Chevrolet Corvette C7.Rs will race in Saturday’s two-hour, 40-minute event for the TUDOR United SportsCar Championship, which shares the stage at COTA with the FIA World Endurance Championship.

Sunday’s eighth TUDOR Championship round for Corvette Racing is GT-only

DANVILLE, Va. (Aug. 22, 2015) – Corvette Racing’s two Chevrolet Corvette C7.Rs will continue their chase for the TUDOR United SportsCar GT Le Mans (GTLM) championships Sunday at Virginia International Raceway. Three races remain in the season including the two-hour, 40-minute Oak Tree Grand Prix.

Corvette Racing to Skip the FIA WEC 6-Hour Race at COTA

We were pretty excited last year when Corvette Racing signed up their third C7.R chassis for duty in the FIA World Endurance Challenge Race at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas. The all-American driver roster included Tommy Milner and the two Taylor brothers and was referred to as “Team America”.

But according to a report by Sportscar365, Corvette Racing will not be entering a Corvette C7.R as a wildcard in this year’s FIA WEC race which takes place September 19th.
