We always enjoy hearing about another long-hidden Corvette coming out of hiding to be enjoyed by enthusiasts.
A red 1964 Corvette Sting Ray convertible is the latest barn find to surface in this listing on Craigslist in the San Francisco Bay area.
And it’s said to be a one-owner Sting Ray, to boot.
Not many details are included in the listing, but we do find out that it’s a matching numbers 327/300 horsepower engine with a four-speed manual transmission.
The body appears to be in good shape, with no outward signs of damage and all four bumpers present on the front and rear. The black interior shows some wear, but many of the parts seem to be there, including the instruments and glove compartment door.
The new owner will receive lots of the original paperwork, title (showing Florida as the original point of sale), and documentation, including the shop manual from 1964. A photo even shows the hood covered with what appears to be old receipts and other paperwork related to the car.
Options are said to include a hardtop (shown on the car in the photos), luggage rack, AM/FM radio, teak wheel, power brakes, power steering, and backup lights “”and much more.”
The price is listed at $39,500.
