We haven’t been this bummed out about a Monday since, well, last Monday. No need to fret, though, as we’re staring down the barrels of a holiday weekend. That also means that it’s time for another round of Midyear Monday!
This week we’re featuring a special gallery of 1963 – 1967 Corvettes from Mecum’s 30th Annual Spring Classic auction in Indianapolis. While we spent the weekend there trying to bolster the Motor City Bureau’s garage, we ultimately ended up dragging an empty trailer back home. The good news is that we were able to assemble a fantastic gallery of second generation Corvettes to share with you.
The top Corvette seller in Indy last weekend was the Litavsky 8,533 mile 1967 427/435 coupe which hammered at $675,000. Other significant sales were a 1963 big tank Z06 at $410,000 and a mean looking completely unrestored black/black 1967 427/435 convertible which sold for $310,000.
We’ll have more from Indy later this week, meanwhile we present our gallery from Mecum’s Spring Classic below.
