If someone buys this 1967 Corvette roadster, they’ll either need to make a road (or make that boat) trip to Guam.
The seller says he’s back in Texas now, but the car remained behind in the Western Pacific. That means either a long boat ride or more likely having the car shipped back to the States. He claims to have shipped several cars and says “no problem there.”
In his Craigslist post, the seller says the car has been parked for decades, with the last tags reading ’74 and ’75.
He says the odometer reads just 24,987 miles on this red/red Corvette, which has two tops and has a four-speed transmission with the original 327/350 engine, along with power windows.
The seller claims the frame remains in good, restorable shape, with no rust-throughs anywhere, and all glass is original and in excellent condition. He terms it a complete project car minus the spare tub, gas tank, wheels, and rear bumpers.
The car will also need full rear quarters and repairs to the front fenders.
The new owner won’t get any documentation or tank sticker, but the seller says he does have a clean title in his name.
The owner is asking $38,000 or best offer. The ad has been posted for nearly a month so perhaps he is ready to deal. Other pertinent information:
