The YENKO Corvette is back!

Specialty Vehicle Engineering has unveiled their latest creation late last week ahead of its public reveal at the 2017 Barrett-Jackson auction in Scottsdale. Utilizing the YENKO name under license, the YENKO Corvette is based on the all-new Corvette Grand Sport and only 50 will be offered in this limited edition run.

The YENKO name was always synonymous with performance and the new iteration in C7 form doesn’t disappoint.

The naturally aspirated LT1 6.2 liter displacement is increased to 6.8 liters (416 ci) and outfitted with forged aluminum pistons, CNC ported and polished LT-1 cylinder heads and then equipped with the LT-4’s fuel system and injectors. A custom 2.9 liter twin-screw supercharger is installed and then the engine receives a custom performance tune. A red custom supercharger top proudly displays the new performance figure of 800 horsepower.

The Corvette is outfitted in YENKO graphics that harkin back to YENKO’s legenday muscle cars. Graphics include a hood stinger with matching vent, and the stripe is carried over the roof and rear deck. A side stripe along the door and rear quarter panel proudly proclaim the YENKO name.

The YENKO Corvette package is being offered for $46,000 and the cost of a new Corvette Grand Sport. Only 50 YENKO Corvettes will be built and each is numbered. SVE does offer a 3-year/36,000 limited warranty for the engine, supercharger assembly and non-powertrain components.
