It’s time for Throwback Thursday where we feature vintage photos of Corvettes. Today we share a fan submission from Ken Stow who attached the photo named “Tres Corvettes”. Ken says the picture was taken in 1968 in front of Hall’s Arco in South Pasadena, California.
Appearing in the photo from left to right is Paul Moomjean and his 1961 Corvette, Randy Hall and his 1959 Corvette, and Ken Stow with his brother’s 1958 Corvette.
Ken’s comments on the photo:
I’m posing with a 1958 Corvette and two of my high school chums in front of Hall’s Arco in South Pasadena, California…you can even see the price of gas at the time was still dirt cheap.
It’s interesting to note, that like so many others who owned Corvette’s in the 1960’s, none of us currently own the Corvettes in the photo. With the prices of Corvette’s being what they are these days, we sure wished we had saved our Corvette’s and put them away for a rainy day.
Since my retirement in February of this year, this baby boomer is currently looking for another Corvette as my mid-life-crisis-mobile. I’m looking in the more affordable 1990’s range.

Thanks for the submission Ken and we hope you find your next Corvette soon!
