[VIDEO] Corvette Engine Building Video Shows Owner/Builder Interaction

This Wixom walk-through video was released in late November on Chevrolet’s YouTube channel. Master Engine Builder Don Henley takes us through the various stages and quality checks as a 638-hp LS9 is assembled. For us, the real magic comes when we see the interaction these builders have with Corvette owners.

You can see emails and posts from the Corvette Forum hanging on the wall. One of those shows a quote from builder Mike Armstrong that reads “If my name is on it … My heart goes into it.” The forum post to Henley sums it up for us: “tell everyone in Wixom that their work is very much appreciated!
