An Arizona man has been selected as the winner of the Chip Miller Amyloidosis Foundation Sweepstakes last weekend.
But instead of taking a 2020 Corvette, Richard Kisthardt of Tucson says he’ll take the $75,000 lump sum payout instead.

As we’ve mentioned over the last couple of days, CorvetteBlogger contributor Jeremy Welborn is at the National Corvette Museum’s Anniversary Celebration this week and yesterday he bounced around from the Museum to the NCM Motorsports Park, and then finally he stopped over at the Corvette Assembly Plant for some photos of his Sebring Orange 2020 Coupe as it visits “home” for the first time.

The annual spectacle known as Corvettes at Carlisle took place last weekend in Pennsylvania. Not even the Coronavirus could stop the Carlisle Events team from holding one of their top events. As one would expect, the show was down from its usual girth but there was still no shortage of things to do. The weather was the one norm at Carlisle. Thursday featured flesh-melting heat while Friday and Saturday rotated through a mix of sun, clouds, and occasional rain.
The owner of this Blade Silver C7 Corvette convertible will be doing without his Stingray for at least a week after being caught zooming past a policeman in Canada about 9 a.m. Tuesday.
For fans of Corvette Racing and C8 Corvettes, we have some more news to come out of the virtual Corvette Presentations that occurred last weekend in conjunction with Corvettes at Carlisle.

Over the years we’ve covered the infamous VH1/Peter Max collection and we’ve become accustomed to seeing the cars in barn-find condition. After decades of being stored away in New York City parking garages covered in layers of dust and grime, the 36 Corvettes that span 1953 to 1989 have been rescued and now the first batch of the Lost Corvettes will soon be going to new homes.
