Corvette's 30th Anniversary Homecoming Will Be Historic For Bowling Green

The National Corvette Homecoming’s 30th, on July 14-16, 2011, is a big one and will be shared with the Corvette Assembly plant. This features a plant manager’s seminar, a new Road Tour, golf tournament, GM new vehicle debut, and the most anticipated events, a 30 year Corvette display, one for every year since the Bowling Green Corvette plant’s opening and the very first Homecoming!

The National Corvette Homcoming is now accepting applicants for Corvettes 1981-2011 to represent their year in this historic display. Applicants are invited to check the website for details. The iconic Corvettes chosen will be either original or custom and in best condition of all applicants for that year.

This year the Corvette’s “cousin”, the Cadillac XLR’s will join in the 30th Bowling Green Anniversary celebrations. Over 50 of these beautiful Cadillac two-seaters have already registered.

Early registrations are strong and space is filling up fast. Early registration invites gets an invitation to the “Touch of Class” Meet & Greet on Thursday evening to meet favorite celebrities and local dignitaries. Over 250 attended last year and this year is running ahead of that number. The “Touch of Class” is limited to 400.
