If you’re the kind of Corvette shopper who wants to know everything that’s been done to a car, an Orange 1975 coupe in San Antonio might be worth a look. The seller doesn’t hold back in his Craigslist ad, spending two full pages detailing every component he’s “fixed/restored/replaced,” then adding another page devoted solely to routine maintenance.
The car itself is a 1975 Corvette coupe with a four speed manual transmission, no air conditioning, and 121,000 miles. Under the hood, the original 350 V8 received a top end rebuild in 2019, including an Edelbrock EPS Performer intake, an Edelbrock Thunder AVS 2 carburetor, a fresh AC Delco distributor with Crane adjustable vacuum advance, and a set of Hooker Competition headers. The seller also replaced ignition wires, vacuum lines, hoses, belts, and the brake master cylinder during the same round of work.
The suspension saw attention that year as well, with a new rear leaf spring, a heavy duty differential cover, and AC Delco premium shocks at all four corners. Inside, the car received a full deluxe interior restoration in 2019, including modern two-tone seats and giving the cabin a fresh start to match the mechanical upgrades.
More recently, the brakes were updated with new calipers in 2023, and the trailing arms and half shafts were rebuilt in 2025 — a major job that often gets overlooked on mid ’70s Corvettes.
The asking price is $18,990, and while the seller’s ad may be long, the level of detail makes it clear this is a ’75 Corvette that’s had significant attention paid to the parts that matter.
