Bob from Bob’s Corvette Garage on YouTube filmed this walkthrough the show floor at the NCRS National Convention held in Charleston, SC, on July 26-30th. The video highlights the fantastic gathering of 152 Corvettes undergoing various levels of judging.
The national NCRS event features everything from early C1s to modern C8s, with cars ranging from unrestored originals to full frame-off restorations.
The convention includes Top Flight, Performance Verification, Duntov, McLellan, and the newer Open Class judging categories. Traditionally NCRS focused on older Corvettes, but the Open Class now allows newer models (including C7s and C8s) to be judged. In fact, the first car we see is Rick Hendrick’s 2026 Corvette ZR1X Stars & Steel that he purchased at Barrett-Jackson for $2.6 Million.
Bob is at the show with his 1977 Corvette being judged for the McLellan Award and we get a look at that as well. It already has a Top Flight and Performance Verification, and it scored a perfect operations score. Hopefully, he got the result he was going for!

What is the point of having a new Corvette judged at an NCRS meet?
Why is there not an award for C2 generation corvette. Survivor cars in beautiful unrestored condition to leaving the factory in that condition
