Our friends at Mid America Motorworks experienced something that no family or business should have to deal with on their own. On June 17, a tornado made a direct strike with the company’s headquarters in Effingham, IL which destroyed their buildings and took down their entire business operations.
Mike Yager and the entire Yager family have been there for Corvette enthusiasts for over 50 years. They have offered many hard-to-find parts and accessories in their catalogs to keep our Corvettes on the road and looking their best, and we know many have even attended the legendary Corvette FunFest events that attracted thousands of Corvettes from across the country to the Illinois campus.
Mid America Motorworks is working to get back up and running, and they have secured a new temporary location that will serve that their base of operations while they continue their recovery efforts.
Now it’s our turn to help out following this devastating natural disaster.
Mid America Motorworks is offering new Mid America Strong shirts and all proceeds will be going to help the company’s recovery efforts. Also available with long sleeves and offered in a youth size, it’s a great way to show your support to Mid America Motorworks and the Yager family as they work through the clean-up process. I just ordered mine this morning. Get yours today!
