Criswell Chevrolet’s Mike Furman delivers new Corvettes to his customers who come from all across the country to work with the nation’s top individual Corvette seller.
Thanks for joining us today! For this week’s delivery dispatch, Mike shares a couple new owners taking delivery of their Corvettes. As we led with Virgil’s Hysteria Purple Stingray, I’m thinking that’s the last time we’ll see that color on a new Corvette as it’s now officially retired. But instead of feeling sad, take a look at the great collection of throwback and vintage pics assembled by Mike for your scrolling pleasure. There are some really good ones here with my favorite being the 1963 Convertible captured straight on as it’s running an autocross.

~June 20th, 2026…The GBurg Corvette Club hosts “The Corvette Innovation Fun Show”. Actually 7 Fun shows in one. Criswell Chevrolet of Gaithersburg, MD has been the Club Sponsor since 1992. Registration starts at 9am with free T shirt to the first 50 registered. Partial proceeds will benefit the GBurg club charity, Stepping Stones Shelter.

~We need “Anniversary Gold” to commemorate the 75th Anniversary of the Corvette for the 2028 model year. Actually I’ve been saying this for many years as has John E. Of Oregon.
~James H. of Daleville, Alabama took delivery of his new 2026 Eray Corvette via Plycar trucking. James couldn’t wait to see his two Corvettes paired together and neither could I. Big difference from a C3 to a C8 as his latest email states.

“These two Corvettes look so good together, it makes me smile to see that one has a cupholder and the other don’t, however, the other one has an ashtray and cigarette lighter and the other don’t. One also has 190 horsepower and the other has 655 horsepower, what a difference several generations make.
Mike did I mention that…. I LOVE MY NEW CHEVROLET CORVETTE E-RAY!!!

Virgil drove up in a rental car today and I helped him take it to Enterprise so that he would have clear sailing driving his new 2026 Corvette back to South Carolina. Equipment: 1LT, black exhaust tips, performance exhaust, 5 split spoke satin graphite w/machined edge forged aluminum wheels.
I will be in Bowling Green, KY May 31st-June 3rd for Corvette meetings. Most likely will be driving the the new 2027 Grand Sport on track as well. Stay tuned!

My favorite is the orange 72 LT-1.
I like the the girl sitting on the left front fender of a ’62 conv with all of the trophies it has won along the cars full length & the engine bay of the big plenum Fuel Injection engine.
I like the Steak and Shake photo, brings back some good memories.
The wheels-up silver ’68 Corvette is first. The patriotic house blue or black mid-year corvette coupe is #2
