[VIDEO] Here is When the New C8 Corvette Grand Sport Will be Revealed

Chevrolet previewed the all-new C8 Corvette Grand Sport this weekend at Sebring and we were lucky enough to be in a spot to capture it as did a parade lap with four other legendary Grand Sports from previous generations.

While we were at the race, Chevrolet put out a press release on Saturday afternoon that paid homage to Sebring’s Grand Marshall Roger Penske, who back in 1964 drove the 1963 Corvette Grand Sport chassis 001 at the Sebring 12 hour race and won the Prototype GT class victory with co-driver Jim Hall.

“It is an incredible opportunity to be reunited with the Corvette Grand Sport C2 here at the Twelve Hours of Sebring – an event and a track that has always carried special meaning for me and for our race teams over the years,” Penske said. “Congratulations to Chevrolet on launching the new era of the Grand Sport program. It is truly special to see the C2 and the other generations of the Corvette Grand Sport, including the new C8, here at Sebring.”

At the end of the press release, Chevrolet confirmed the reveal date for the new 2027 Corvette Grand Sport would be held on Thursday, March 26th. So far, no other details have been made public or if Corvette enthusiasts will be able to watch any of the reveal via a livestream. Let’s hope that happens.

In the meantime, Chevy also put a video on its social media channels about the Sebring preview and within it, we got our first look at the new engine cover for the 6.7L LS6 V8. Also confirmed is the cross-flags emblem on the rear hatch of the car. Check out that Instagram video below:
