This 1972 big-block T-top Corvette has been owned by the same person for the past 19 years.
But after having it last serviced in 2015 by Tony’s Corvettes, he readily admits it hasn’t seen much time on the road since.
In fact, he says it has always been stored in a climate-controlled garage its entire life.
As a result, the odometer reading is just 53,000 miles (or an average of only 1,000 miles a year) and the car is described as still being “near spotless.”
Apparently, since it’s not being used very much, the owner has decided to try and find it a new home with a listing on Craigslist, where it’s being offered at an asking price of $47,500.
The car still wears its original shade of Ontario Orange, which looks absolutely smashing against the Saddle interior. We also like the aftermarket wheels better than the factory Rally wheels.
Both the exterior and interior of this beauty appear to be in tip-top condition, but in case you want a closer look to confirm that assessment, the seller says he can provide “tons of additional photos if requested” and is also open to answering any questions you might have.
Of course, most enthusiasts would be most interested in the condition of the LS5 454 V8 engine mated to a four-speed manual transmission. After sitting so long, the owner candidly admits it will need to be serviced again and new tires installed before it’s ready to go cruising again. Hopefully, in addition to new rubber, that service wouldn’t entail much more than some new hoses and belts and routine fluid changes.
Located in southern Maryland, this chrome-bumper Stingray represents “your opportunity to own a fantastic example of a true big block Corvette,” the seller concludes.
As the former owner of an Orange ’71 LT-1, we’d love to see this one sitting in our driveway after a cruise around town. What about you?

Yesss I would love to have this sweet looking ride sitting in my driveway!
Beautiful! I had a 73 but not a big block. This is the last year for the chrome bumpers front & rear. Definitely a classic and a runner!
