Criswell Chevrolet’s Mike Furman delivers new Corvettes to his customers who come from all across the country to work with the nation’s top individual Corvette seller.

Another milestone year for our friend Mike Furman as he begins his 47th year selling Corvettes! He’s got a fun Sunday post for us with some great photos and a collection of throwback and vintage pics that are among some of the best we’ve seen recently. ~7/26/1978 to 7/27/2025~Wendy Miller works for General Motors as an integral part of the Corvette Team and she just reminded me that today is the start of my 48th year selling Corvette’s for GM.

My very first Corvette customer was Cassius de la Victoria. I will never forget him as I was 3 weeks away from turning 18 and he was 82 years young buying a Corvette! The letters from Mary Barra truly mean a great deal of significance to me and my career.

~ I know GM keeps real good track of these milestones but they always forget I’ve delivered 8,000+ non Corvettes!

~One of my favorite 1963 Split Window Corvettes is owned by Jay Leno and was restored by an expert on the 1963 Corvette. Enjoy these pictures of Jay Leno’s Fuel injected 327 ‘63 Corvette at Big Dog Garage, Burbank California.

~ Get your engines started and head to Pennsylvania for the 2025 Corvettes at Carlisle Show this August 21-23, 2025. I’ve attended every Corvettes at Carlisle event since its inception in 1982. I’ve also attended Carlisle events all through out the year since Fall of 1978. I will have my Riptide Blue 2025 Eray Convt. on display at the Ron Fellows Spring Mountain tent on the Midway infield across from the GM tent. Stop by and say hello.

~My Celebrity Judging material has arrived so that means less than 3 weeks until the largest Corvette show in the world is on full display! Over 5,000 Corvettes spread out over the 100 acres of the Carlisle Fairgrounds.

~Carl P. of Tamuning, GUAM lives a mere 7,936 miles from Criswell Chevrolet but the power of the internet led him to me. Carl has owned 16 other Corvettes between the model years 1963-1985, Corvette #17 is this Riptide Blue 2025 Z06 Coupe that he factory ordered from me. We completed the paperwork via Fed Ex with him in Guam back in May and made this morning 8am, July 28th the delivery day as his daughter Ronnie flew in from her home in Hawaii so that the two of them could drive cross country in memory of Carl’s son. Just 33, John Carl was a decorated Navy Seal and passed away in 2022. “He will be Forever remembered , forever missed.” Once they arrive in California, the new Z06 will go on a ship to Guam for Carl to drive and see if it reminds him of his Fuelie 1963 Split Window that he first purchased in 1964. Equipment: 2LZ, Natural interior, engine intake in Red, front lift, red brake calipers, and much more.

~Check out the wheels Carl had shipped in from Wheelcraft in Ohio! These “Highland Bronze “wheels go great with this color combo! Dina, Mgr of our Corvette service lane, handled the wheel swap by her service techs which can be done at most any dealership… so look up Wheelcraft in Mentor, Ohio.

~I have never received such a creative and thought provoking review like this one from these folks that recently took delivery at the National Corvette Museum.
