Dragy Data Shows a 2025 Corvette ZR1 Sprint from 60-130 MPH in 4.49 Seconds

As we continue to go be amazed by the new 2025 Corvette ZR1, out comes another data point to prove this Corvette is unlike any that has come before.

As part of its official rollout, Chevrolet released the performance figures of the ZR1 that covers its 0-60 mph launch in 2.3 seconds, and it can also run the quarter mile in 9.6 seconds at 150+ mph. And that’s on 93 octane pump gas!

Those are really impressive stats right out the gate, but the figure we see being discussed a lot more these days is the 60 mph to 130 mph sprint time. And that makes a whole-lotta sense when talking about the ZR1 because there are not many places that you can run wide-open throttle and explore the upper reaches of its top speed. The 60-130 mph time really shows how the car delivers both power and torque as well as how the aerodynamics affect the car at higher speeds.

Over on the Corvette Forum (and shared on Facebook), a new 2025 Corvette ZR1 owner named Metraman finally surpassed the 500-mile break-in limit and then decided to see what kind of the times he was getting 60-130 mph with a Dragy doing the data logging. He shows the graph where his first run was with the “air” on and he did a 4.80 second 60-130 mph time, and then on his second run with the air off, he got a 4.82 second 60-130 mph time.

He ran the car again early this morning when it was cooler out. He says “turn some nannies off” and the Dragy graph below shows a 4.49 second 60-130 mph sprint:

Corvette ZR1 Dragy Times

Metraman did that run while on the way to take the 2025 Corvette ZR1 to the dyno were it did three runs. He says all were “done in 5th gear as 4th gear was quite a bit less”. “Got to love this car,” he says. His three dyno runs showed the following:

• 952.01 HP and 791.56 TQ
• 985.31 HP and 813.25 TQ
• 1003.20 HP and 834.12 TQ

Not quite the same over-performance as the Paragon Performance dyno last weekend, but impressive none the less! You can see a video of the car doing one of the dyno pulls on post 31.

As I go back to these 60-130 MPH times, that 4.49 seconds is really fast. I asked X.com’s Grok to give me some other 60-130 MPH times from other exotic sports cars as well as from Porsche, Corvette, and the Tesla Plaid and it came back with these results for comparison:

• Tesla Model S Plaid: 4.71 seconds
• Ferrari SF90 Stradale: 4.8-5.0 seconds
• Lamborghini Revuelto: 5.0-5.2 seconds
• Porsche 911 Turbo S (992): 5.2-5.5 seconds
• McLaren P1: 5.5-5.7 seconds
• Porsche Taycan Turbo S: 5.8-6.0 seconds
• Chevrolet Corvette C8 Z06: 6.5-7.0 seconds
• Chevrolet Corvette C8 Stingray: 7.5-8.0 seconds

  1. Sounds good and it should with that much horsepower. BTW, when the a/c is on, it shuts off as soon as you floor it.

  2. No, just not believing it’s an entire second faster than this real-life draggy with an accompanying video: https://youtu.be/Ab8jUf1e8GI. I had to make 1146 wheel in my M7 Z07 M7 to hit 4.71 60 -130. 4.5 is unrealistic, in my honest opinion.

  3. To the guy that can’t believe his m7 c7z needed more power for similar performance… Better aero and dct
