While Harlan Charles is no longer employed by GM as your Corvette Product Marketing Manager, he still knows a thing or two about the Corvette ZR1 and put that knowledge to work this week at the National Corvette Museum as a temporary delivery specialist for customer’s R8C delivery.

Harlan was in Bowling Green earlier this week to witness the delivery of a Black 2025 Corvette ZR1 Coupe to his friend Michelle Sadler. He was initially there just to watch but was pressed into service at the delivery specialist for the R8C delivery at the last moment, even wearing a NCM Staff shirt and a doctored name tag thanks to Betty in the NCM Library.

Michelle ordered her new Corvette ZR1 through Ciocca Corvette of Atlantic City with Jeff Duda and he came down for the delivery festivities as well. Michelle and her husband now own three VIN 025 C8 Corvettes: a 2023 70th anniversary Z06 with aero, a 2024 E-Ray, and the 2025 Corvette ZR1.

Her ZR1 was ordered nearly identical to the GM Show car which was shown at the Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale auction back in January. Michelle saw that car and decided there and then that it was the spec for her. The Black ZR1 features the Blue 20-spoke wheels and Edge Blue racing strip while inside is the Jet Black interior with Blue Stitching, Blue Seat Belts, and the Level 2 Carbon Fiber interior package. The total MSRP was $219,265.

Thanks Harlan

Michelle shared a photo of her R8C delivery plaque with the following:

“A big thank you to those that watched my delivery and all the nice comments as well. It was an amazing and special day that is for sure, Harlan and Kim came down for me and at the last minute I suggested that Harlan be my delivery host. Betty gave him a staff shirt and Chris gave him his name tag (changed to Harlan). This made it incredibly special. I want to especially thank Brad (from the MECF) for driving all the way from Florida to take pictures. This was so generous and a total surprise as well. Sorry that we didn’t do the drive out while you were there.

My waterfall plaque states ‘Thanks Harlan’, He so deserves to be recognized.”

Michelle also posted this picture video to Facebook sharing her R8C Museum Delivery experience with her friends and special guest:
