It’s not often that you see five Corvettes pulled over at the same time by law enforcement.
But that’s exactly what happened Saturday afternoon on Highway 1 in Santa Cruz, California, according to a social media post by the California Highway Patrol.
As the Memorial Day weekend is always busy, law enforcement was urging drivers to slow down on crowded roads.
Stopping these five speeding Corvettes – which included a C7 and two C8s, based on the photo with the post – definitely serves as a high-profile warning to others.
“A CHP officer spotted not one, not two, but five Corvettes zooming well above the speed limit on Highway 1 near Davenport,” CHP wrote on the post.
Furthermore, the Highway Patrol added: “Remember: Speed kills. Let’s keep our roads safe for everyone. Slow down, enjoy the journey, and drive to arrive. Your loved ones are counting on you.”
