[VIDEO] Vehicle Virgins Offers First Review of New 2026 Interior, First ZR1 Reviews Coming May 30th

One of the big events that generally precedes the launch of a new Corvette are the third-party reviews that come from the major magazines and automotive websites. With the 2025 Corvette ZR1 soon to be released, we’ve been really looking forward to hearing what the automotive world thinks about the new King of the Hill. In fact, we just got our first hint of when these reviews might drop thanks to this 2026 interior review from Vehicle Virgins.

Vehicle Virgins is at the Circuit of the America’s (COTA) track outside of Austin, Texas where he will be driving the all new ZR1 this week for his channel. He tells us at the very beginning that the embargo date for these reviews is Friday, May 30th at 10:00 am EST, so get ready for what will be a very unproductive workday by Corvette enthusiasts.

The ZR1 Ride and Drive event looks to be at least two days long as the YouTuber climbs into a 2026 Corvette Stingray for a lead-follow session on the track. He’s following a professional driver in a new Corvette ZR1, and the session was to help him become acclimated with the best lines around the track for when he gets to drive the new ZR1 on the following day. The car he is following for that exercise is a ZR1 Coupe in Rapid Blue with the large High Wing mounted to the rear. While the second part of this video details that lead-follow exercise, the first part offers a nice review of the new interior updates for the 2026 Corvette.

The new interior was shown in a 2026 Corvette E-Ray and it’s the first time outside of the Yellow ZR1 shown in the promotional photos that we’ve seen the new interior design with the Level 2 visible carbon fiber package. Overall, we have really warmed up to the new changes, especially the three-panel screen set up with the revised graphics and animations. During his review, Vehicle Virgins shows many of these new screens and how easy it is to customize the gauge and information tiles on the display.

As for the Lead/Follow exercise, the Rapid Blue ZR1 sets the pace in what our driver calls “a Sunday stroll,” but what was impressive to us was just how good the Stingray he was driving was able to handle the track at speeds that that reached triple digits on the straights.
