Thanks to a reader, I just received the news about the passing of Sam Kelley, who we met back in the day as a sales rep at Kerbeck Corvette in Atlantic City and then Ciocca Corvette after the ownership change. Sam left the dealership a few years ago and I haven’t seen him since he last attended Corvettes at Carlisle. I always enjoyed talking with Sam and I know that he had a ton of Corvette friends around the country as well who will miss him.
I had heard that he had an extended illness, so I am glad that is now all past him.
Rest well, Sam.
Sam’s obituary can be read here. A viewing and the funeral is set for Wednesday, May 14th.

Condos to his family he will be greatly missed.
Sam was a great saleman, when I ordered my 2017 Z06, he quoted me an 11% discount when I first called. He asked me to send me options I was going to order, I did, it was quite a few. He called back and said I’m gonna be you favorite salesman, lets make that discount 12%! And so our relationship throughout the process was so nice, kind, and gentle, no suprises. Sam was a great guy, who I imagine is now in a great place.
