The first real redesign of the C8 Corvette was just introduced today and we’ve been very interested to hear from other Corvette enthusiasts on these changes. I’ve come around to it since seeing the first spy photos and like everyone, there are some things I like and don’t like. Overall, I believe these are positive changes for the C8 line-up going forward.
For this video, we bring in our friend Mike from the Brink of Speed channel as he goes through the 2026 updates. We’ll have some more of these coming up this week as we want to hear from actual owners of the car as their opinions matter!

What qualifications does Mike Brink have, and why in the world would anyone care what he thinks? NO ONE CARES.
Wish I had that in my 2021. Oh well. Could the sunroof be for the HTC? This is the model that doesn’t offer a view of the sky unless the top is down, thus giving more of an open feel when the top is closed. I find that I open the top infrequently, either it’s too hot or cold out, the wife doesn’t like the wind in her hair, now with an HTC you could leave the top closed and still get the light and less claustrophobic feel from the solid roof.
Passenger grab handle is ugly and to big. Get rid of it and GM will have a nice clean looking console.
Passenger side is still shit, my wife wouldn’t ride to town in one of them. If anything, passenger space might even be worse than the original.
I liked the “big wall of buttons” – now they are in the center console like in every others car.
Just leave polarization inducing things like the button wall in the car, it makes it special.
