Our friend Rick Conti has been selling Corvettes for nearly 30 years, and many of us have come to rely on his analysis especially when it comes to ordering a new Corvette.

In his latest video, Rick talks about the upcoming ordering for the 2025 Corvette ZR1 and why your pre-order really means nothing at this point in the game.   1. How much can we bet that Princess Emilia’s, or any other influencer pre-orders count and simply go status 3000 immediately?

  2. Michael Brink, amongst others, has already discussed how the pre-order means nothing. I used to be a fan of Conti’s until the whole Z06 ADM situation.

    Yes, Emelia Hartford will probably get a 2025 if she wants it. Nothing against her, but I do not think that she is a good ambassador for the higher trim levels as she is a customizer.

    And I am sure other influencers who will buy it for clicks and then dump it as soon as they can will get a golden ticket to the head of the line.

  3. You’d think that GM has a pretty good track record of who is keeping and who is flipping–and could pick accordingly.

    I’m guessing that the same thing that happened for Z06 and ER will apply. First model year will appear largely for those with kneepads and fat wallets; and it will exist predominantly in colors that are bespoke. There are going to be about 967 Cacti ER’s on the market within 2 years. I doubt anything will be different for the ZR1 and Hysteria / CY.

  4. Sorry for the worst stupid question ever, but what camera do you use a film. It’s so crisp. Is it a GoPro? Or a 4K iPhone? Please any answer would be appreciated. It was awesome. Listening to your video. Look forward to more. I own a 2024 ray in Canada but today I learned a lot, but I’d like to learn a little bit more like what camera do you use or phone? Please thanks Curtis

  5. If ‘pre-orders’ mean ‘nothing’ why have ’em?
    Oh, it’s because they DO mean something. GM has many other many things to do. Meaningless ‘nothing’ is not one of them!
