To help celebrate Chevrolet’s 100th birthday, the carmaker came up with the Corvette Centennial Edition for 2012.
The car’s Carbon Flash Metallic Black exterior with Satin Black graphics created a unique black-on-black theme for the occasion, accented by Centennial satin black wheels with red brake calipers. Even the interior was a full blackout with ebony leather on the instrument panel and doors complemented by microfiber suede on the steering wheel, seating surfaces, console, and shifter.
A special 100-Years graphic showing Louis Chevrolet behind the steering wheel of his race car, complete with leather helmet and goggles, was displayed throughout the Centennial Editions, on the B-pillars, center wheel caps, and center of the steering wheel.
In case you missed the party back then, it’s not too late to join the celebration as a Grand Sport Centennial example with the top-of-the-line 4LT package is being offered in Lakeway, Texas on Craigslist for $41,000.
Nearly 20 percent of all 2012 Corvettes wound up with the Centennial Edition package that added $4,950 to the base MSRP, including 1,040 Grand Sport coupes like this one.
But this example has been modified with a Varam intake, Kooks headers, ATI harmonic balancer, and LateModelRacecraft cam (with receipts totaling $7,000), the perfect complements to the six-speed manual transmission and M6 dry sump package.
“Come get a built right, manual, cammed Grand Sport ready for whatever you want to do to it or leave it how it is,” the seller says.
The car has been driven 58,500 miles and features a new battery and starter, along with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires described in the listing as “like new.”

Nice 60k mile car, with mild mods. But $41,000 is a fever dream.
Just looked at the actual listing. Car has to be trailered due to an “intermittent no crank no start scenario”. Seller is beyond delusional!
The impressive Centennial Edition brought the C6 up another level in 2012.
Car will never sell at that price. Too many miles and modding cars like this can actually lower the value.
