Criswell Chevrolet’s Mike Furman delivers new Corvettes to his customers who come from all across the country to work with the nation’s top individual Corvette seller.

Thanks for joining us on this last day of the Thanksgiving Holiday. Hopefully you didn’t overdo it too much with all that great food being served! Mike has a fun post for us today with some great new Corvettes being delivered, and his throwback photos this week are another reason to stretch out those scrolling fingers before diving in. ~2024 Holiday Season Commercial from Chevrolet. “The Sanctuary “

~ C8 Corvette Deliveries for the Week

~Martin and Jean W. of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania were referred to me to Factory order their new Riptide Blue 2025 Corvette Convertible. If you look at the 2nd picture you will see Martin’s only other Corvette experience when he was a youngster. This is his very first Corvette and it will look good next to his all original 1986 Camaro that he bought brand new and resides in his home garage. Equipment: 2LT, GT2 buckets, chrome badges, front lift, magnetic ride, performance exhaust, two tone seats, low rear spoiler and much more.

Here is a note I received from Martin:

Hi Mike,
“We made it home yesterday…no problems and truly enjoyed the drive!
Thanks so much for the pictures and video. Not sure who the old guy standing next to Jean is though!
I appreciate your help in getting my Dream Vette ordered. It was definitely, hands down, the best vehicle purchase experience I ever had – and not just because of the type of car ordered. Sorry I left kind of quick and didn’t get to shake your hand. I didn’t sleep the night before for some reason and was trying to process everything going on. I’ll really have to study the videos. I do plan on bringing the car to Criswell for service – if the needed service only takes an hour or two. Great excuse to drive the car or head to Ocean City!”

~Ms. Stacey W. of Clinton, Tennessee found me on the internet and factory ordered from me her new Black 2025 Corvette Z51 Convertible and this past Saturday she took delivery at the National Corvette Museum in her neighboring state of Kentucky. Equipment: 3LT, chrome badges, front lift, CF interior trim, magnetic ride, bright machined face wheels, Z51 pkg and much more.

The photos are now supplied to me by Fotofx, a company that has been working within the Museum for the past 10+ years and now they have pkgs available for a truly special experience to be captured digitally.

~Chris and Allyn J. of Leonardtown, Maryland have owned 4 other Corvettes, and yesterday he took delivery of #5. The last 3 Corvettes he bought from me here at Criswell along with the Radiant Red 2023 Camaro SS Convertible that he traded in on his new 2024 Riptide Blue Corvette coupe. Their other Corvette model years were 1982, 1994, 2011, 2019. Equipment: 2LT, GT2 buckets, performance exhaust, bright machined face forged aluminum wheels and low rear spoiler. Chris found this Corvette in my inventory and I gave him a sight unseen trade in value and then the delivery appointment was secured.

~Clay D. of Red Lion, Pennsylvania went to his high school Prom in a Corvette so he has a long history with Chevrolet . Tony from Tony’s Corvette shop referred Clay to me and yesterday was his delivery day for his Factory ordered Competition Yellow 2025 Corvette Z51 coupe with Black interior and yellow stitching. Clay brought his granddaughter Hannah with him to enjoy the new Corvette delivery experience here at Criswell Chevrolet of Gaithersburg, MD. Equipment: 3LT, red engine cover, body color and transparent dual roof pkg, Carbon flash with red accent full length stripes, front lift, yellow calipers, bright machined face wheels, Z51 pkg and more.

~Jim and Linda M. of Pasadena, Maryland last ordered their 2016 Yellow Corvette Z06 from me and today they took delivery of their factory ordered Competition Yellow 2025 Z06 Corvette Convertible. This is their 9th Corvette that they have owned. Equipment: 3LZ, Black interior with Yellow stitching, yellow calipers, Ground effects pkg, CF/Midnight Silver stripes, chrome badges level 2 CF exposed weave trim, Spider design bright polished forged aluminum with CF painted pockets, and much more.

I look forward to every Sunday and Mike’s “Barn finds and throwback pictures.” My favorite year Corvette when I was growing up and still holds a very special place in my heart is the 1957.

I have a question about pic #62. If my eyes are seeing things correctly, I’m pretty sure that is a ’56 or ’57 and I love the color. I might be going cross-eyed but the lady is holding the pump nozzle on the Right side so the fuel filler door must be there. I thought at first the pic was mirrored during editing but the steering wheel is on the Left as it should be. I don’t ever remember the fuel door on the Right side so this must be a Very Rare vehicle.

I really enjoyed the Disneyland Yo-Yo Corvette article about the Woman that guessed how many Yo-Yo’s were in a 61 Corvette from a Disneyland Park contest and Won It! She was even given the “Magical Keys” in front of Sleeping Beauty’s Castle!…. There were 2300 of em…Wow!
