We’ve long been fans of RSC’s (aka Racing Sport Concepts) high-quality body kits and carbon fiber accessories for the C8 Corvette, Z06, and E-Ray. RSC is known for clean, organic designs that complement, rather than detract from, the C8’s already stunning appearance. RSC’s mission is “to design high quality niche products that are not feasible for a large auto manufacturer.” In addition to their world renown body kits, RSC also offers many carbon fiber replacement parts for the C8 trim, including the boomerangs, mirror caps, grille inserts, and other accessories for the entire C8 range.”
RSC’s client love how their diverse product lineup offers them the ability to create their own unique look for their C8, even at huge events like Corvettes at Carlisle or a certain Caravan coming up this summer. Whether you want an aggressive track inspired Corvette, or prefer a sleek GT boulevard cruiser, our friends at RSC have body parts for your build.
As an exclusive offer for CorvetteBlogger readers, Racing Sport Concepts is offering a 10% savings on the new Evolution Wing and ST Rear Diffuser. Use the promo code CB2024 to score your discount. Better hurry as this offer is only good through June 31, 2024.
Evolution Wing Kit
The Evolution Wing is composed of seven separate pieces including: wing blade, end plates, and vertical stanchions, all featuring RSC’s coveted exposed carbon fiber with a deep gloss clear coat that is second to none. The Evolution Wing showcases the C8’s angular lines with its raised central span compensating for the air flow over the roofline, while twisting forward on the outer sections as to take advantage of the more dense air flow around the C8’s greenhouse. The Evolution Wing design builds on the “fighter jet” aesthetic the C8 is known for.
The modular design sets the Evolution Wing apart from others. Each of the wing’s components (stanchions, wing blade, end plates) will have the ability to be updated as Racing Sport Concepts plans new components releases over time to offer you even further customization. Owners will be able to further refine their Corvette’s look with a quick change of end plates or by changing the mounting stanchions or wing blade.
Your eyes will immediately be drawn to the immaculate 3K 2×2 twill pattern on the Evolution Wing, and how it matches GM’s directional finish with the two sides coming together perfectly in the center. Racing Sport Concepts products are constructed using pre-impregnated carbon fiber to produce the best possible finish and strongest product possible. All RSC parts are then cured in a state-of-the-art Autoclaves to create the straight defect free weave that RSC clients demand. Finally, each part is painted with 5-7 coats of OEM grade UV inhibiting clear coat providing a glass-like finish that won’t yellow over time. All RSC parts go through a rigorous quality control process to ensure the fit and finish is up to their exacting standards prior to shipping out of RSC’s facility in Columbus Ohio.
Another great feature of the Evolution Wing is the stanchions utilize the same factory mounting locations found on all Z51s for installation. For non-Z51 owners, a drilling template can be purchased. All RSC products come with a two-year warranty, and product support from Racing Sport Concepts is just a phone call away.
The Evolution Wing Kit is priced at $2,795 Shipped (CONUS). The wings are in stock now and ship within one business day
ST Rear Diffuser
Racing Sport Concepts’ ST Rear Diffuser is a perfect upgrade for the C8 Stingray or E-Ray owner who plays to win. Combining looks, aggression, and performance in one tasteful upgrade that installs so easily you’ll think it came from the factory. The ST Diffuser offers the largest and most aggressive rear diffuser from RSC, and its two-piece functional design adds downforce while looking good. On top of that the engineers at RSC made sure the ST Diffuser would be installed using factory mounting locations, so no cutting or drilling is required.
The ST Rear Diffuser fits both the C8 Corvette Stingray Coupe and Convertible models, as well as the E-Ray Coupe and Convertible. The 2-piece design installs via OEM fastening locations and hardware. Everything you need is included, even the little mounting brackets for the rear fascia’s backup sensors to ensure a headache free installation.
The ST Rear Diffuser is priced at $3,595 plus shipping and it’s in stock and ready to ship!

How a wind tunnel works: These large hollow tubes create controlled wind conditions to study object’s behavior in airflow. Through sensors and visualization techniques, engineers gather data on aerodynamic forces like lift, drag and turbulence.
Advances in wind tunnel design, alongside computational fluid dynamics, have significantly contributed to technological developments in automotive engineering by helping engineers design safer and more efficient vehicles.
Gm’s wind tunnel that costs million of dollars, has a six-blade fan measures 43 feet in diameter, in addition Gm’s replicates the real-world speed difference between the vehicle and the pavement with a moving belt. These type of Wind tunnels are commonly used in Formula 1 testing, where ground effects are crucial to performance.
As someone who drives occasionally, in the triple digits, it is “very reassuring” that my Corvette has the best aero package Corvette engineers could design, based on their many hours of exhaustive wind tunnel research and development that actually cost millions?
Many thanks,
Ray
