Our Three Favorite Corvettes from Corvette Mike for this March

There’s still plenty of time left to procure a Corvette for the summer cruising season. If you’re itching to get back behind the wheel as much as we are, then take a look at our friends from Corvette Mike and their extensive Corvette inventory.

If you’re currently looking for something to cruise, show, or just show off in, the crew at Corvette Mike in Anaheim, California can help you out. Mike Vietro and his experienced team have been buying, selling, and consigning Corvettes for over 40 years now. Over that period, they’ve helped countless enthusiasts find that Corvette of their dreams. Check out their online showroom or give them a call at 714-630-0700 to see what they’ve got available.

This month, they once again have three separate generations of Corvette to share with us. Our three March feature cars include a fuel injected C1, a timeless C2, and a brand new C8 that’s One Like None.

1963 White / Black 340hp Split Window Coupe

1963 White / Black 340hp Split Window Coupe

The 1963 Split Window Coupe has been one of the hottest sectors of the Corvette market for several years now. Each time one comes to market, there’s a line down the street with buyers ready to eagerly hand over their cash. This Ermine White on black 1963 coupe is the latest quality SWC available from Corvette Mike and it’s offered for sale at Bring a Trailer.

1963 was the first year for Corvette’s 2nd generation with 21,513 total Corvettes rolling out of St. Louis that year. This frame off restored, Ermine White over black example is powered by a numbers matching, 327/340hp L76 engine that’s mated to a M20 4-speed manual transmission. A 3.70:1 rear end resides out back.

It’s nicely equipped with the AM/FM radio, power brakes, power steering, teakwood steering wheel, and knock off wheels wrapped in BF Goodrich radials on all 4 corners. Documentation includes receipts and photos of its extensive restoration.

The Bring a Trailer auction still has four days to go so you’ve still got plenty of time to get your bid in.

1962 Honduras Maroon / Black Fuelie Convertible

1962 was a transitional year for Corvette as the revolutionary 1963 Corvette was just one year away. In its final year of first-generation production, all Corvettes came with restyled accent moldings in the coves, new lower rocker panels, and a host of new 327 cubic inch powerplants. Additionally, all side coves were now body color.

This handsome 1962 Corvette Roadster is just in from the estate of a GM Executive and NCRS member. It’s finished in Honduras Maroon over a black interior. A 360hp fuel injected engine provides the power and a 4-speed manual transmission provides the appropriate gear. The car has been beautifully restored and is a NCRS Top Flight winner. The top of the fuel injection unit has been signed by none other than Zora Duntov.

2024 Torch Red/Red E-Ray Coupe

Oh boy, here’s your chance to be the first one on your block to pull up in a new Corvette E-Ray. Leave it to Corvette Mike to snag one of the first E-Rays off the Bowling Green assembly line! This C8 is still inbound as E-Ray deliveries are just getting underway. They expect it to arrive late March or early April. Once it arrives, the all-wheel drive Corvette will be finished in Torch Red over the dipped Adrenaline Red interior. Power comes from the 495hp LT2 out back and the 160hp electric motor up front. That 655 total hp! The 8-speed paddle-shift automatic transmission manages shifting duties.

This revolutionary Corvette will be equipped with the popular 3LZ package plus the ZER package which includes Michelin summer only performance tires and the FED Suspension with Magnetic Selective Ride Control.

  1. I liked watching the short but cool ride along video of the 63. I’m sure that’s the closest I’ll ever come to see what it’s like to drive a C2. The E-Ray is eye catching with it’s monotone Torch Red paint, red interior and five spoke wheels.

  2. Beautiful cars! Very minor point, but shouldn’t the openings in the sides of the air cleaner on the ’63 be facing to the front, not to the back?
