2007 Corvette Z06 Ron Fellows Edition

2007 Corvette Z06 Ron Fellows Edition

The Ron Fellows ALMS GT1 Championship Edition Z06 is one of our favorite special editions from the C6 generation and the namesake model was created to honor one of our favorite Corvette Racing drivers, Ron Fellows. This limited-edition Corvette Z06 was unique at the time as only select colors could be ordered for the Z06 and Arctic White wasn’t one of them. Chevy built 399 of these with 300 built for the USA, 33 went to Canada, and the other 66 were exported worldwide. Each Ron Fellows Z06 was autographed on the inside of the center console lid by the legend himself, and this one for sale at Gulf Coast is numbered 340. Because of their rarity, we only see these come up for sale every once in a while.

The 2007 Z06 came equipped with the naturally aspirated 7.0L LS7 V8 capable of 505 horsepower and all were 6-speed manuals. All of these special editions were outfitted the same with a two-tone Red/Black interior, red hashmarks on each fender with a Canadian Maple Leaf motif, and each had a CORVETTE windshield banner. The stance on this car is fantastic with 18/19-inch chrome Z06 wheels featuring Red-painted brake calipers. It’s an exceptionally clean car with a detailed interior and engine compartment. There are just 5,496 miles on the odometer of this car, so it’s still low enough for a collector, but high enough that you can drive it without feeling like you’re hurting your investment. This limited-edition Corvette Z06 is offered by Gulf Coast Motorworks for $59,995.

2023 Corvette Z06 with Z07

Chevrolet once again stunned enthusiasts with the release of the Corvette Z06 for the C8 era. The Corvette team engineered a bespoke naturally aspirated 5.5L V8 with twin throttle bodies and an 8600-RPM red line. The Z06’s unique high-winding soundtrack from the center quad exhaust is one of the main reasons to own this car. Chevrolet calls the C8 Z06 their ultimate track weapon as it’s capable of 0-60 mph in 2.6 seconds and can run the quarter mile in 10.6 seconds at 131 mph. This 2023 Corvette Z06 from Gulf Coast Motorworks is equipped with the rare Z07 performance package which were limited in the car’s inaugural year, and that includes the beefier FE7 suspension, Michelin Sport Cup 2R tires, and Brembo Carbon Ceramic Brakes.

Is there any sports car more American than the mid-engined Corvette Stingray? After seven decades of thrilling automotive enthusiasts, Chevrolet celebrated the Corvette’s 70th Anniversary milestone with a stunning special edition model available in two distinct colors, and buyers could order it either as a Coupe or a Convertible. Each of the 70th Anniversary models was numbered individually, and this is number 158. 1. Show me something else that can match the performance numbers and looks of a Z06 for plus/minus $160K. Uh, I don’t think you can.
