Find Your Next Corvette at GAA's Classic Cars Auction February 22nd – 24th

We’re a month and a half into the new year already. Does 2024 hold a new-to-you Corvette in your future? If you’re hoping to park your next Corvette in your garage this year, then check out our friends at GAA Classic Cars who are hosting their February sale this weekend in Greensboro, NC.

The GAA team has assembled nearly 750 collector vehicles as we write this. Take a closer look at the diverse docket and you’ll find 50 Corvettes lurking inside. The extensive Corvette lineup features at least two cars from each generation. So, no matter which Corvette era you’re into, GAA has got you covered.

The Corvette offerings are available with and without reserve and cover everything from fresh restorations to your next daily driver. In addition to our three feature cars below, you could be the next owner of a Silver Flare over red 2023 Z06 convertible or a low-mile 2013 60th Anniversary 427 Convertible. The C3 crowd can choose between the freshly restored Warbonnet Yellow convertible and the attractive Nevada Silver over Red coupe while the later model fans drool over the handsome Black over Red 2015 Z06 convertible.

Here’s a closer look at the generational breakdown of the Corvette docket:

We wish we could show you every Corvette up for grabs this weekend, but here are three in particular to keep your eye on.

1965 Red / Tan Restomod Coupe

1965 Red / Tan Restomod Coupe

This wild pro-touring build is powered by a GMPP 495hp LS3 Engine backed by a GMPP 4L75E Supermatic Transmission. The body features a pre-molded 1967 front clip, stinger hood, and GTS wide rear quarter panels. All that rides on a SRIII Motorsports frame with C5 front suspension and Z06 brake calipers. Elsewhere underneath you’ll find Porsche 930 CV Joints, Drive Shaft Shop rear half shafts, a Winters quick change IRS, and stainless-steel custom exhaust. Budnik wheels are sheathed in 255 front tires and 345 rears.

Other modern creature comforts include a Hydro Boost brake system, Detroit Speed headlights and wipers, Vintage A/C, a stainless-steel fuel tank from Rick’s Tanks, and a slick set of custom gauges.

1954 Blue / Biege Convertible

This great looking, late-production 1954 Corvette is 1 of just 300 finished in striking Pennant Blue over a beige interior. The car experienced a 47-year single-ownership run prior to receiving a no expense spared restoration which wrapped up in 2018. The extensive refurbishment included a complete rebuild of the Blue Flame 6-cylinder engine, automatic transmission, and rear differential. The electrical system has been converted to 12 volts and the sale includes a set of restored side curtains.

1966 Maroon / Black Restomod Convertible

Lot #ST0063 is a highly modded 1966 Corvette convertible finished in the classic combination of maroon over black interior. It’s powered by a cammed LS3 engine that’s hooked to a Tremec 6-speed transmission via an LS7 clutch. The hot engine exhales through Ultimate Headers with 3″ stainless exhaust.

The whole car rides on a SRIII tube chassis sporting Finch Performance custom front and rear A-Arms and JRI double adjustable shocks. Big Forgeline 18×11 and 18×12 Wheels are mounted on all 4 corners with Baer 6-piston brakes and meaty 14″ rotors. Inside, an American Auto wire harness distributes electrons to the custom dash’s Auto Meter gauges, the Vintage A/C system, and other modern amenities.

  1. This is right up my alley. My brother in law and I are going to GAA this Saturday to check out all the vehicles and see what some of these nice Corvettes sell for when they cross the block.
