One of the really fun events we get to attend each year is the awards ceremony for the annual Corvette Dream Giveaway winner. On Friday in Clearwater, FL., Clayton K. of Wisconsin became the latest to be handed the keys to two Corvettes plus a check for $48,500 to pay the winner’s taxes. Clayton’s prize package featured the 70 Anniversary 2023 Corvette Stingray Convertible, a matching White 1965 Corvette Sting Ray Restomod, plus the check and a four-post lift.

The Dream Giveaway offers all kinds of specialty cars and trucks that are given away throughout the year, and the awards ceremony is a great opportunity to get to meet these lucky winners in person. Clayton has been a long-time participant of the various Dream Garage giveaways and says that he likes to know his donations are helping real people as opposed to just throwing money away by playing the lottery. He says the two Corvettes will be put to great use, joking that he’ll drive whichever one his wife is not. It just so happens he purchased a car condo in southwest Florida a few months ago and so storage won’t be an issue, especially with the included Backyard Buddy four-post lift that also comes with the grand prize.

One of our favorite aspects of the car is the new digital/analog cluster featuring the two round large gauges for the speedometer and tachometer. Only 1,000 miles are shown on the odometer, and believe it or not but the clock actually works!
