[VIDEO] VINwiki Car Story: The Great Corvette Scam

Before the internet, it was a lot easier for sleazy used car dealers to take advantage of customers. This new “car story” from the YouTube channel VINwiki details one such dealership in Madison, Wisconsin that rose to fame in the mid-1980s only to crash and burn under the weight of its own malfeasance by the 1998.

This is the story of Capitol Corvette and its owner Dave Larson, who was convicted and sentenced to prison for swindling 125 people of $3.6 million.
