The PVGPA turned once again to North Star Chevrolet to secure their order and the spec sheet is pretty sweet. It starts with a Z06 Convertible in Red Mist Metallic with Natural interior, along with Carbon Flash top and nacelles. The option for the Z07 Performance Package is checked as are the Brembo Carbon Ceramic brakes. The curb appeal includes the addition of the Satin Graphite spider-design alloy wheels with the red stripe around the edge, while the calipers are painted in Edge Red. Inside, you’ll find a 2LZ interior with GT2 Sport Seats, and it comes with all the creature comforts and safety equipment.


It’s been a year since the Corvette Z06 first hit the streets and there appears to be no decline in the enthusiasm for this special car. It’s got a certain vibe to it, and it all starts with the bespoke LT6 V8 engine. Chevy returned the Z06 to its naturally-aspirated roots and threw in flat-plane crankshafts for good measure, giving the 670-hp sports car a soundtrack that stands alone in the Corvette line-up, at least for now. To amplify the sound, engineers built a one-of-a-kind exhaust designed to bounce that sound back to the driver, providing the ultimate feedback loop.


By donating to this charitable cause, you are helping the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix Association make a huge difference in the lives of individuals with autism and intellectual disabilities. The PVGPA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that stages a 10-Day Motorsport Festival complete with car shows, charity fundraisers, and two weekends of racing, one at Pitt Race and the second through the city streets of Schenley Park. Proceeds from the events and this fundraiser help people with autism and intellectual & developmental disabilities who will never get a chance to drive a car. Over $6 million in donations have been offered to charities by the PVGPA since its founding in 1983.
