1956 Onyx Black Convertible

1956 Onyx Black Convertible

1956 marked the first significant styling update to the Corvette. While the single headlights up front remained, we now got stylish side coves available in contrasting colors. We also saw a restyled rearend that routed the exhaust out through the backside of each fender. 1956 also marked the debut of roll up windows, a hard top, and even an available power soft top.

1956 Onyx Black Convertible

This Onyx Black beauty has been restored to “Concours D’Elegance standards” and is ready to cruise. It’s powered by the 225hp variant of the 265ci engine which is mated to a 200R4 4-speed automatic transmission. Blackwall tires and the standard hubcaps complete the stealthy look. The red interior has been exquisitely restored and features an updated am/fm radio. The attention to detail carries over to the spotless chassis and engine compartment. If you’re looking for a near-perfect C1, this is it.

1967 Sunfire Yellow / Black Convertible

1967 Sunfire Yellow / Black Convertible

This 1967 Corvette is one of the most highly optioned 435hp midyears we’ve ever seen. It’s the only known Sunfire Yellow L71 with side pipes, F41 suspension, headrests, and shoulder harness seat belts. More interestingly, a radio wasn’t included among the 15 options selected on this Corvette. Check out this list of options: matching numbers L71 427/435hp and M21 4-speed, 3.36:1 rear end, power steering and brakes, hardtop, F41 suspension, side exhaust, shoulder harnesses, headrests, tinted windshield, transistor ignition, speed minder, and bolt on wheels. It was born with white stripe tires, but now sports an attractive set of red lines in their place.

1967 Sunfire Yellow / Black Convertible

The Sunfire Yellow exterior is complemented with a black stinger, black interior, and black soft top. The car has been fanatically restored back to as-new condition and is a 3-time NCRS Top Flight winner in 2008, 2010, and 2012. Documentation includes the tank sticker, NCRS Shipping Data Report, car shipper and more. Here’s a video with Corvette Mike walking us through some of the paperwork on this stunning Sting Ray. Keep an eye our for future videos on this car in the coming days.
