We are in the midst of another order cycle this week which is specifically targeting 2024 Corvette E-Ray and Z06 orders. This order cycle shows a tentative Target Production Week (TPW) of October 23rd, dependent on any supply chain or labor issues which could delay production.

We’ll start with the Corvette E-Ray first as this is the first order cycle for the new performance hybrid model. Like we saw last year with the introduction of the Z06, the Corvette Team says the rollout of the E-Ray will have a slower cadence at first and then will pick up from there. However, it’s always concerning when looking at constraints for a new model and seeing most of the wheels unavailable for the first order cycle, including the standard wheels in Pearl Nickel. The E-Ray offers four aluminum alloy wheels and three carbon fiber wheels. All the carbon fiber wheels are available and the only aluminum wheels that are available to order in any quantities are the Black Carbon Flash with Machined Edge.

We are also seeing that the Engine Appearance Package is not available while the Carbon Fiber Interior Trim package has limited quantities.

2024 Corvette E-Ray
• SON Gloss Black Forged Aluminum Wheels
• ROX Bright Polished Forged Aluminum Wheels
• ROU Pearl Nickel Forged Aluminum Wheels
• B6P Carbon Fiber Engine Shield
• ZZ3 Engine Appearance Package
• FA5 Carbon Fiber Interior Package

As for the Z06 Constraints, no real surprise here. We are again seeing a disruption with the carbon fiber options. T0F and T0G high wings are both 0 availability nationwide while the CFZ and CFV ground effects are available but very limited. Like the E-Ray, the Engine Appearance Package and the C6P Carbon Fiber Engine Shield are not available and the FA5 Carbon Fiber Interior Trim is limited:

2024 Corvette Z06
• T0F Carbon Flash High Wing
• T0G Visible Carbon Fiber High Wing
• CFZ Carbon Flash Ground Effects
• CFV Visible Carbon Fiber Ground Effects
• B6P Carbon Fiber Engine Shield
• ZZ3 Engine Appearance Package
• FA5 Carbon Fiber Interior Package

One of the ways around the ZZ3 Engine Appearance Package constraint is by ordering the D3V option which puts the wiring harness and light into the engine bay. That costs just $100 and then you can go aftermarket on the Carbon Fiber closeout panels or customize with exterior-painted panels.

One other note to point out regarding the E-Ray Wheel constraints. The report we got from a Chevrolet dealer lists the ROX wheels as the Bright Polished wheels, but a review of the 2024 Corvette Order Guide says ROX wheels are the Carbon Flash with Machined Edge. Both are GM-produced documents, so something is wrong there. Check with your dealer as always.

  1. I was told that the company that produces the carbon fiber accessories (other than the wheels) went out of business and a new company is trying to get it together to take its place.
