C8 Coupe Louvered Engine Panels

For well over a year, the factory ZZ3 appearance package for the C8 Corvette was unavailable due to a supplier constraint, and those cars without the louvered engine panels had a raw, unfinished look to them. ACS Composite’s C8 Coupe Louvered Engine Panels are the perfect way to finish off your engine compartment by hiding some of the engine bay components and putting the focus directly on the C8’s engine cover.


ACS Composite manufactures their C8 Coupe Louvered Engine Panels using plastic injection via a cavity mold. This process creates a panel with sharper edges and an improved fit, and they are resistant to the LT2’s engine temperatures so they will never distort from their original shape. You can choose from Carbon Flash Black, Torch Red, or Arctic White. The engine louvers are installed over the engine braces on each side using the supplied Torx screws and washers.

C8 Coupe Engine Compartment Overlay

Many C8 Corvette owners specifically ordered the Coupe version to show off their V8 engine as the “Jewel under glass”, and yet Chevrolet chose to encircle your Corvette’s beating heart with raw, unfinished plastic. Now you can give your C8’s engine compartment a “best-in-show” appearance with ACS Composite’s new Engine Compartment Overlay (ECO). These overlays will completely transform your C8’s engine bay by surrounding your engine with the same color as your exterior, or take your customization to the next level by bringing a secondary color into the mix.


The Engine Compartment Overlays are manufactured with ACS Composite’s PC Composite material via a plastic injection process that is thermally stable and designed for the high engine bay temperatures. The ECO also features one of the easiest installs possible. Just set it on top of the engine compartment’s frame and it’s held into place once the hatch bump stops sandwich it into place. No hardware, tools, or drilling required…just set it and forget it!


There are three pieces to the Engine Compartment Overlays and ACS Composite offers a version for those for Corvettes with Magnetic Ride Control (wires on the rear struts) and non mag-ride suspensions (no wires on rear struts), and it you can really finish it off by also adding the louvered engine appearance panels if your C8 Corvette was built without them. And once the ECO is in place, maintenance of your engine bay becomes much easier, especially if you decide to add a ceramic coating to your new ECO panels.


ACS Composite currently has the Engine Compartment Overlay Panels available in Carbon Flash Black, Torch Red, and Arctic White. For other exterior colors, you can specify the color code or provide your VIN and the unlisted colors will be painted to order. Custom paint orders require extended lead times. The Carbon Flash ECO is priced starting at $1,395 for the Non-Mag-Ride versions and shipping is free.
