[VIDEO] Ron Fellows Sets the Production Car Lap Record at CTMP in the 2023 Corvette Z06


The 2023 Corvette Z06 is ready to show what it can do when in the hands of a master.

Corvette Hall of Famer Ron Fellows had the opportunity to turn some hot laps at his home track aka Canadian Tire Motorsports Park (CTMP) with the new 2023 Corvette Z06 featuring the Z07 Performance Package and Carbon aero. When it was all said and done, the Corvette Racing Ambassador and the Z06 set a lap record for a production car with a time of 1:22.12. For some context, that’s 4 seconds quicker than his lap time of 1:26.899 in the C7Z.


Posting on Instagram, Chevrolet Canada writes:

The checkered flag has dropped! 🏁

The 2023 #Corvette #Z06 has set a new production car lap record at @CTMPOfficial 🏎️. Watch as Ron Fellows takes the wheel posting a remarkable lap time of 1:22:12.
