Edmunds Picks the Top Convertibles on the Road for 2023

If you want to let the wind blow through your hair while soaking up some rays, Edmunds has come up with its five top convertibles for 2023, which just happen to include the mid-engine Corvette.

Edmunds praises the Stingray for being “significantly less expensive” than the Porsche 911 while gushing that the car’s “flashy exterior looks like it belongs to an exotic car costing two or three times its price.”

Also earning praise was the acceleration of the “bonkers fast” Corvette, along with its “refined ride and sharp handling.”

While it can take “some dexterity” to climb in and out of the cabin, Edmunds praised the interior as “otherwise pretty roomy” with a “user-friendly touchscreen interface.”

They also took time to mention that the new Z06 is also available in a convertible, calling it “the best way to listen to that model’s thrilling V8 soundtrack.”

Also earning mention on Edmunds’ list of top convertibles for ’23 are the Mazda MX-5 Miata, Ford Mustang and Bronco, and Porsche 911 Cabriolet.

In short, Edmunds says as “summer approaches and convertible season is about to be in full bloom … open-air vehicles like the rugged Ford Bronco, lithe Mazda MX-5 Miata, and rapid Chevrolet Corvette prove sun-soaked driving adventures are still available.”
