We Are Still Waiting for This Wheel Option to Drop on the E-Ray Visualizer

It was three months ago that the new 2024 Corvette E-Ray was accidentally leaked via the visualizer, and that gave Corvette enthusiasts a lot to talk about. Not only were we seeing the first performance hybrid Corvette, but the visualizer also provided a sneak peek at the new exterior and interior colors for all 2024 Corvettes.

A month after that leak, Chevy officially revealed the E-Ray, and they made the visualizer live so that enthusiasts could build their dream rides featuring the new AWD sports car. I have spent quite a bit of time there myself as I attempt to come up with the perfect build, and after creating around 40 or so versions, it occurred to me that we are still missing a wheel option.

That missing wheel option is the five-spoke forged aluminum wheel in Satin Black with a Blue Stripe.

You can see the wheel options that were from the original leak, and the E-RAY options show four aluminum wheel choices, along with the three Carbon Fiber wheel options you can access when you select the ZER Performance Package.

Chevrolet is using Blue on the E-RAY’s badges, and they are also offering an exclusive “Electric Blue” racing stripe for the car. As we’ve been playing in the visualizer, those Satin Black with Blue Stripe wheels would be the perfect complement for adding additional blue accents to the car. I’ve also been toying with adding the Elkhart Lake Blue Corvette lettering on the rear. Hopefully, all these blues will be similar to each other.

As far as our wish list goes, we’d love to see a Blue brake caliper option which Chevy has obviously done before for the C6 ZR1, and we also would like to see an E-RAY accessory wheel in the Tech Bronze finish, which would pair nicely with a number of the new colors like Cacti and Sea Wolf Gray.

With the reveal of the E-RAY happening back in January, we are currently in a holding pattern for the car, with no real news expected anytime soon. In fact, as Chevrolet has said multiple times that the E-RAY will be available in late 2023, I’m not expecting any big news to drop before the NCM Bash that’s held at the end of April. Perhaps there we will learn more about the rollout of the car.

How about it, E-Ray fans. Is there something missing from the visualizer on your dream E-RAY builds? Let us know in the comments below!

  1. Buyers can’t even get their Z06’s. Who cares about a wheel option on another model that’s not due out until the end of the year.

  2. IMO that wheel is too plain looking to be on a Corvette. It’s spokes are too thin which makes the wheel too open looking. It’s not a good look for the ERAY.

  3. Spot on. I wanted the tech bronze spider of the Z06 to go with Red Mist! I love that wheel.

  4. I would like to see an option to change the Natural Dipped dash to Natural (black leather with tan stitching)
