[VIDEO] Chevrolet Adds 12 New Videos to its Corvette Stingray Academy Playlist

For new owners or those that just want to learn more about the mid-engine Corvette, Chevrolet’s Corvette Academy Playlist is a great resource with officially produced videos ranging from broad overviews of the Corvette to very specific vehicle operations. Chevy offers two Corvette Academy playlists with one dedicated to the Corvette Stingray and the other for the new high-performance Z06.

Despite the new Z06 being released to buyers, we haven’t had anything new added to the Z06 Academy playlist since this summer. But yesterday, Chevrolet uploaded 12 new videos to the Stingray’s Academy playlist under the title of “Accelerated Preparation,” and these are specific to learning about various operations and settings for the entry model Stingray.

Here’s an interesting one on the Stingray’s Vehicle Break-In Schedule. We know about the 500-mile torque reduction and the 1500-mile break-in before taking the car to any track events, but were you aware of what’s happening within the first 200 miles? Check it out here:

Another new video uploaded yesterday is this quick feature on the Vehicle Maintenance Schedule. We know that the “rules” for changing the transmission filter were updated in 2021 as well as Chevrolet extending the “free” first service visit from 12 months to 36th months.
