{VIDEO] Speed Phenom Offers Up a 2,000 Mile Durability Review on his 2023 Corvette Z06

Got another video today to share from Speed Phenom, who appears to be one of the only new Z06 owners offering up original video content with America’s newest supercar. We’ve already featured his R8C Museum Delivery, putting the car on the dyno, the trip to the Half-Mile Shift S3ctor Airstrip Attack, and yesterday’s Z06 Weigh-in of the car on a certified trucking scale.

In his latest drop, Speed shares more of his cross-country journey that featured several car shows in Texas and the unfortunate nail he picked up in his tire.

Speed doesn’t offer a lot of details about the cross-country journey, but one of the things he talks about early on is getting the car to 1500 miles on the odometer so that it’s fully broken in and ready for the track event in Abeline. At the end of the video, he stops again and recounts his trip (so far).

The Car has been working beautifully for me…no mechanical issues, nothing like that. It’s been an absolute joy to drive across country. So far, I’m going down a half-mile airstrip doing launch controls with no issues whatsoever. We even got a nail stuck in the back right tire, and it’s performing fine…got it pulled out and it’s not losing air. The entire car hasn’t let us down!”

  1. Chazoo, I find his spirit and enthusiasm entertaining instead of annoying, a personal
choice. Love the part when he is so wired about staying awake and alert. I have watched
him enough to know that was a rare side of himself. Roll on SP!

  2. Jim you called it right the other day when you implied this guy isn’t man enough to represent the C8 Z06. I’m getting tired of seeing articles about him.
