If you’ve been waiting for Chevrolet to update the Build and Price Configurator for the 2023 Corvette Stingray, we’ve got some good news for you today!
Chevrolet officially kicked off 2023 model year production officially on May 19th and now they have finally relaunched the official Build and Price Configurator for the base model C8. The configurator has been redesigned from the previous model year and offers a brand new interface for choosing various packages and options on the car.
At first glance, the configurator offers larger photos of your Corvette as you build it and you can select six different exterior and four interior views that allow you to see your Corvette build from multiple angles. We also like the white background which really allows the car to stand out.
But what is really helpful is that as you select the various options, they are presented with much larger photos which allow you to see the differences between various options. This is a big improvement over the previous version and it really comes into play when the user is presented with many different options like the interior colors.
We also found the summary page to be much better as well as it’s larger and also contains visual references to your various options and packages selected.
To test the configurator, we built this 2023 Corvette Stingray Coupe with Z51 and the 2LT interior and grabbed some screenshots to show the new interface:
Quick update, the Magnetic Ride and Front Lift options are a bit hidden and I missed them when I originally went through the configurator. They are ‘hidden’ on the Options tab. Make sure Exterior Options is active and then toggle the minus sign to close the “Exterior Options” tab and then click the plus sign to toggle open the Mechanic Options and you will see them there, along with the Black Exhaust tips and the Battery Protection Package.
After building just this one car, our verdict is in and this is the best Build and Price Configurator that Chevrolet has offered yet for Corvette buyers. Having spent hours on the Z06 visualizer, using the new build and price configurator will be a huge upgrade once available. Now that Chevrolet has released the last major component for buyers of the 2023 model Stingrays, now would be a great time for the automaker to start dropping the Z06 info.

the new configurator is missing the stealth interior and carbon fibre options for the interior it seems. I’m sure they will figure that out quickly
I was able to add the Stealth and Carbon Fiber trim option. It was located on the Options tab at the end and you have to toggle the Interior Options to see them.
Keith, I don’t see the blacked-out exterior emblems.
The Black emblems are the default versions. The Chrome emblems are offered as an Option.
Keith, I recall seeing a black/black front emblem for $200 where even the red area is black.
Hi Jay. Not sure what you are describing is a factory option. I know Chevy offered something like with the 2012 Centennial Editions but I’m drawing a blank as to what you are describing for 2023.
Where are the 70th anniversary exterior colors and packages to select?
You will see the 70th Anniversary under the Packages tab, but first, you have to select 3LT under Trims for it to display.
