[VIDEO] More 2023 Corvette Z06 On-Track Action from Laguna Seca

Since the new 2023 Corvette Z06 is apparently going to be one rare automobile, the only thing better than seeing – and hearing – one of them in person is to see – and hear – two of them, at least on video.

That’s exactly what Speedster404 captured on a YouTube video recently as two new Z06s were running fly-by laps around Laguna Seca.

So, in case you didn’t get enough of that beautiful Arctic White Z06 on one of several runs around the track, don’t worry. A Rapid Blue Z06 is right behind for a repeat performance.

These two highly anticipated Corvettes look to be fully equipped, starting with the Z07 performance package that adds $8,995 to the $105,000 starting MSRP (plus freight and gas-guzzler tax, and dealer adjustments, if any). The Z07 includes FE7 suspension, Brembo carbon ceramic brakes, Michelin Pilot Club 2R ZP tires, and underbody strakes and also requires the additional Carbon Aero Package with components done in either Visible ($8,495) or Carbon Flash Painted ($10,495) form.

These two Z06s also appear to have the optional carbon fiber wheels from Carbon Revolution that deliver a weight savings of 41 pounds in unsprung mass and cost either $9,995 in carbon flash metallic or $11,995 in visible carbon fiber.

The main appeal of the Z06, though, is its LT6 engine, which has the distinction of being the most powerful naturally aspirated powerplant ever built. Said to share no parts with any other small-block GM engine (and perhaps no other engine in the world, for that matter), the bespoke LT6 delivers a whopping 670 horsepower with a redline of 8600 RPMs.

Offering 50 percent more cooling capacity than the Z51 Stingray, thanks to five radiators, larger side vent openings, and 50 percent more powerful front fans, the LT6 is connected to a beefier dual-clutch transmission with a 5.56:1 final-drive ratio instead of 5.2:1 for the Stingray Z51 and 4.9:1 for the Stingray.
