I haven’t featured Fred’s Full Throttle videos previously but I am a regular watcher. This week he has a good analysis of the 2023 Corvette Z06s pricing and the reaction from Corvette enthusiasts. Has Chevy been warning us all along that the price of the Z06 would not follow the conventional wisdom or history from previous generations? Check out Fred’s Full Throttle!

  1. – I want a Harvard education for the price of my local community college.
    – I want a Malibu beach house for the cost of a NC double wide.
    – I want a trophy wife that’s happy sitting in the double wide watching Green Acres reruns while eating chicken wings.
    – Oh, and I want a new Z06 that can out perform $350K plus European sports cars at the track for a few more thousand dollars than a C8.
    Sounds about right….😂

  5. We are just as happy with our 2023 C8 Stingray. The Z06 would have been too much of a performance car for us and we could not have justified the additional cost.😁

  6. Price is not the issue getting the parts to build them is. I have an order for a C8 Z51. Dealer called me said they don’t have parts for the Z51 and mag shocks. So GM is not accepting any orders for Z51 with mag shocks.

  7. GM is placing the C8,Z06 out of the mainstream market. Over 50% of prospective buyers are turning away from the Z06. The Corvette is slowly running out of ideas,especially with a 4dr version. I have owned a Corvette for over five generations but at this point I’m done. Thanks to GM. Too much money for just an added engine and cosmetics. Not worth the cost.
