[VIDEO] Here is the Custom Luggage that Comes with the Corvette’s 70th Anniversary Package

Ordering for the 70th Anniversary Corvette is finally opening up after being on constraint for the last two months and this weekend we got our first look at the luggage set that comes as part of the special anniversary package.

The pics and video come from our friend Mike Furman who took delivery a week ago of a 70th Anniversary 2023 Stingray Convertible in White Pearl Metallic wearing VIN 007. Mike received the bags after delivery and he shared them as part of his Sunday Delivery Post.

The luggage set consists of two soft-side travel bags. Each bag is done in two-tone black leather with suede and red stitching like we see on the Corvette Stingray’s seats. The center pocket section on each side also resembles the Corvette’s interior design. There is a Corvette 70th Anniversary logo patch on each side and the top zipper allows access to the bag’s contents.

The bags are sized to fit perfectly side-by-side in the C8 Corvette rear trunk. Chevrolet does have a non-70th Anniversary version of these bags on the Chevrolet accessories site with the pair offered for $1,495.

The 70th Anniversary Corvette for 2023 comes with a set of two very well-made 70th travel bags. I took pictures and a video so you could view them closely. The complete 70th pkg includes: Torch Red Seat belts, Sueded microfiber steering wheel, edge red calipers, 20 spoke Midnight Gray forged aluminum wheels with red stripe, Travel bags, rear fascia and roof storage protector, carbon flash metallic outside mirrors, 70th Anniversary center caps.

Choose from Pearl White paint (like mine, vin 00007) or Carbon Flash black metallic paint. You can’t go wrong either way. I chose not to have the dual racing stripes and ordered the top and nacelles in carbon flash black. I also ordered Competition seats which reverse the interior color as compared to the GT2 seats.

Mike tells us the amount of stuffing these bags were shipped with was considerable, and in fact, you can see it in this video below. Mike also measured the bags for us and he says they are 18-inches Long X 11-inches Wide X 12-inches High.
