We’ve been rejoicing with the knowledge that GM has been building Captured Test Fleet Z06s with saleable VINs. We caught sight of VIN 009, a Black Z07 Convertible at Watkins Glen in front of the Corvette Corral on Saturday and now VIN 55 was just spied in front of the Corvette Assembly Plant in Bowling Green.
Msowerby991 posted these photos to his Instagram account from his “sources” who just visited Bowling Green. Those sources (actually his parents lol) took some damn good photos of this Accelerate Yellow Corvette Z06 Convertible and even managed to capture the VIN of the car. I’d say msowerby99 has taught them well!

Though I am not a huge fan of Yellow cars, this Accelerate Yellow 2023 Corvette Z06 Convertible is very striking with the contrasting Carbon Flash roof and nacelles. It’s also featuring a carbon flash front splitter, chrome exhaust tips, and the bright polished Spider forged wheels. The photo set also includes a pic of the 70th Anniversary graphic on the rear window as well as a very cute selfie of the couple in front of the car.
Like the recent sighting of the Rapid Blue C8 Corvette Z06, this one is wearing a Kentucky Dealer Plate so we believe this CTF will be driven by someone at the Corvette Assembly Plant. GM does have some nice employee perks!

That yellow is vomitous. My god make it stop. Only thing more repulsive than that is ceramic matrix grey aka ‘dirty bluish white’. Awful.

I second Jim’s opinion. I remember going to check out an inferno orange c6 zo6 and almost made me puke. I was proud to buy a jetstreamblue version…
Just like Nora’s blue Z06, I’m wondering why these CTF cars that are being driven by GM employees have dealer plates instead of manufacturer plates?
I love Inferno Orange! Jetstream Blue meh.
Wow tough crowd… Jetstream blue is definitely a nice color but Inferno Orange is very nice too. Far from puke-inducing! Man guy must walk around puking on the daily with that taste. Also the Accelerate Yellow, although not the best yellow I’ve seen from Chevy, has definitely grown on me and looks even better in person with a nice metallic (saw first at Ron Fellows).
