Corvette Assembly Plant Resumes Operations Today

Just a quick note to confirm the Corvette Assembly Plant in Bowling Green has reopened for business this Monday after closing on Friday due to supply chain issues.

The Corvette plant’s operational status was confirmed by BGAP spokesperson Rachel Bagshaw who told us “yes, we are running today.”

We reached out to a couple of sources last week and was told that multiple parts shortages are being reported, not just one as previously assumed, and that there are discussions almost daily about part shortages and what can and can’t be built.

Last week the supply chain issues only allowed 540 Corvettes to be built last week as compared to the 920 that the plant could build assuming full production.

Stay tuned to CorvetteBlogger for the latest Corvette production news.
